Grand View University recently issued the following announcement.
Dr. Adriana LaGier of the Biology Department was recently awarded a grant from the Cell Biology Education Consortium to develop a Course-Based Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE) for BIOL-380 (Cell Biology). CURE's are a growing movement in the Natural Sciences to allow students to better learn science by doing more actual science.
Students in the class will work to better examine how cells respond to vibrational energy.
Congratulations, Dr. LaGier!
